Job Summary and Qualifications

1. Responsible for clinical management of the patient.

2. Assures satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians and staff), upholding ICARE values

3. Participates and understands Quality Management activities.

4. Demonstrates effective communication skills.

5. Demonstrates understanding of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

6. Promotes cost effective unit operations.

7. Documents care utilizing the appropriate tools.

8 Maintains competencies in clinical areas and is responsible for professional growth and development.

9. Complies with professional, regulatory, governmental and departmental standards.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION: Speech therapy graduate with a minimum of a Master's Degree from a CAA accredited school and ASHA certified

AHA Healthcare Provider CPR

LICENSURE: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia

EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in an acute care facility preferred; new graduates considered
