Material Flow Engineer

Sub-Zero Group is seeking a Material Flow Engineer to lead, continuously improve and optimize the movement of materials within the manufacturing plant. You will work cross-functionally with multiple groups to include Engineering and Supply Chain. Growth and development are important aspects of this position. Primary Responsibilities The Material Flow Engineer designs and optimizes the movement of raw materials, parts, and finished goods within a manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective production. Reduce waste by developing end-to-end material handling processes and designing warehouse layouts. Primary responsibilities will include: Process Optimization: Develops dock-to-point-of-use material handling systems, optimizing lineside space utilization and material replenishment. Layout Planning: Creates detailed material flow paths, warehouse layouts, and storage solutions using CAD software to enhance efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborates with Production, Logistics and Supply Chain teams to improve safety, quality and reduce material handling costs. Simulation & Analytics: Uses data and simulation software to model material flow and validate labor/equipment requirements. All drug testing will be conducted in accordance with federal and state laws. Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better in Industrial Engineering or related field. Bachelors or better in Supply Chain or related field.
