Cleaning and Restoration Technician Qualifications and Experience Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED). Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications are added. Commissions are possible on top of hourly rate) Complete appropriate cleaning and restoration documentation and authorizations. Communicate effectively with customers. Perform basic equipment maintenance. Perform basic vehicle maintenance. Inspect completed work. Complete the technician’s daily log. Complete Work Orders. Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles. Maintain inventory of related supplies. Willing to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry. Willing to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards.
