Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Room/Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role is perfect for a dedicated RN who thrives in a fast-paced, acute care environment, providing essential care in a Level 1 Trauma setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Provide direct nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma environment
• Manage a nurse-patient ratio of 1:3-5 depending on acuity
• Stabilize and transfer trauma patients to designated pods
• Administer and titrate vasopressor and cardiac drips
• Interpret and act on cardiac rhythms and life-threatening rhythms
• Collaborate with the trauma team and other healthcare professionals

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Active IL RN license or confirmation of application
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC or TNS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience and a prior travel assignment
• SANE RN experience and teaching hospital experience preferred
