Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, maintain the general ledger, and ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting across the organization.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, providing direction and review as needed.
• Support ERP administration and optimization including workflow enhancements and automation initiatives.
• Assist with audit preparation, tax support, and safeguarding the integrity of the company's books and records.
• Support financial planning and analysis including cash flow reporting and ad hoc reporting for management.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior accounting staff as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with a demonstrated track record of career advancement.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and the ability to apply it independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort with ERP systems — willingness to learn and optimize new platforms is essential.
• Comfortable working in a smaller company setting where wearing multiple hats and working collaboratively across functions is the norm.
