Maintenance Technician – Multifamily Apartments
Location: Mesa, AZ
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: Competitive Pay Based on Experience
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a strong, experienced Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Mesa, Arizona. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a maintenance professional who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision and confidently handle a wide variety of apartment maintenance responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
Perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
Complete apartment make-readies and unit turns
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
Assist with grounds maintenance and community upkeep as needed
Diagnose maintenance issues and determine effective solutions
Maintain property appearance and ensure all work is completed to high standards
Participate in on-call rotations as required
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience required
EPA Certification strongly preferred
Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry
Experience completing make-readies independently
Ability to prioritize work orders and manage workload effectively
Must have reliable transportation
Must have personal maintenance tools
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded apartment maintenance professional who can confidently handle everything from service requests and HVAC repairs to make-readies and emergency maintenance situations. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to perform, and has the technical knowledge to be a valuable asset from day one.
