Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts) Employment Type: Travel Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job ID: 1425244 Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee and supervise PTAs and therapy technicians. Bill within the facility’s guidelines and adhere to state regulations. Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations. Interface with medical‑center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused care. Understand and utilize adaptive equipment. Evaluate patients and create or modify plans of care as indicated. Use the medical‑center computer systems to perform daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience; 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state‑specific licensing. Optional: ACLS certification. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment commencement. Compensation Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
