Environment, Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety programs for a large, high-volume manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to plant leadership and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across a 550-employee operation. This position is ideal for an EHS professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, HR, Quality, and Plant Leadership to drive sustainable safety and environmental excellence. Industry-leading manufacturer with a stable and growing business Large-scale manufacturing operation with significant operational complexity Strong internal promotion culture and long-term career growth opportunities Opportunity to lead safety initiatives for a 550-employee facility Highly visible leadership position with direct access to plant leadership Competitive compensation package with annual bonus Opportunity to influence plant culture and continuous improvement efforts Relocation assistance available Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, paid parental leave, and onsite health clinic Responsibilities Lead site-wide EHS strategy and compliance programs Manage OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory compliance activities Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance inspections Lead incident investigations and corrective action initiatives Coordinate emergency response planning and preparedness activities Facilitate safety committee meetings and employee engagement programs Deliver and oversee safety training programs Oversee environmental reporting and permitting requirements Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and environmental performance Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, HR, Quality, and Plant Leadership teams Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of EHS experience, or 10+ years of directly relevant EHS experience in lieu of a degree Manufacturing EHS leadership experience Experience within food manufacturing, packaging, plastics, blown film, or similar industrial environments Strong OSHA compliance knowledge Continuous improvement experience Leadership and team development experience Excellent communication and presentation skills Preferred Blown film manufacturing experience Large Quantity Generator (LQG) Permit experience GMP and FDA-regulated manufacturing experience EPA compliance experience CSP, CIH, CHP, or related certifications Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursdays begin at 6:30 AM for plant leadership meetings Occasional on-call responsibilities required Compensation 10% Annual Bonus Relocation Assistance Available If you're looking for an opportunity to lead EHS efforts at a large manufacturing operation while helping shape safety culture and operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
