Parts Sales Representative

Accepts, processes, and acknowledges customer orders using computer database. Processes invoices and credit card payments. Provides information and assistance regarding quotes, order status, product availability, technical support, and general information as requested. Maintains customer database for order entry, accounting, and historical purposes. Answers telephone calls for the sales department. Completes all shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments. Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all company policies to eliminate and/ or reduce exposure to liability. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities): Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Knowledge of office practices, business correspondence techniques, and English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. This is primarily an office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. May work offsite in various environments; travel may be required. Physical Demands: Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, calculator, and to operate standard office equipment. This position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes, pulls, and will lift/ carry up to 20 lbs.
