Senior Marketing Specialist

For 50 years, Wingert Land Services has helped landowners in southern Minnesota buy and sell farmland, rural property, and transitional land through listings and auctions. Founded by Chuck Wingert and based in Mankato, we’re now expanding regionally and building a marketing team to match. We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist who wants to shape our marketing and grow alongside us. This is an opportunity to bring your ideas, take ownership of campaigns, and see your work contribute to new client relationships and property sales. You’ll work directly with company leadership, our creative team, operations team, and land specialists to set our marketing direction and carry the work through planning, writing, publishing, and performance review. What You’ll Do You’ll lead the strategy and direction of our marketing, with a team behind you to help bring it to life. Our Creative Producer, Senior Graphic Designer, and Executive Operations Coordinator share in creative production and coordination, so you can focus on planning, messaging, and results. Develop and execute an annual marketing plan with our leadership team. Set priorities, bring forward campaign ideas, and carry them out. Own our social media strategy across organic and paid channels. Develop content ideas, scripts, and captions, coordinate creative assets, and manage scheduling, publishing, and audience response. Manage our digital advertising. Set campaign goals, review performance, oversee delivery, and recommend improvements. Lead content for our newsletter, email campaigns, website articles, and landowner education. Write, edit, and publish with input from our land specialists. Own our website’s content and creative direction. Keep information current and improve how visitors learn about our services and properties. Coordinate and approve listing and auction marketing across brochures, direct mail, photography, video, email, social media, print, and advertising with our operations team and agents. Collaborate and guide our creative team. Partner with our Creative Producer and Senior Graphic Designer on creative direction, standards, priorities, approvals, and deadlines, and keep our brand consistent across company materials, signage, and agent templates. Lead marketing for events, sponsorships, partnerships, and educational webinars. Track campaign analytics and advise our leadership team on performance and recommended changes. Build repeatable processes, organize marketing files and templates, and test new ideas that improve results or how the team works. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional who can produce results. Titles and years matter less to us than what you’ve built, what you learned, and the impact your work has had. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or five or more years of marketing experience, preferred. Experience that includes leading campaigns from start to finish. Proven record of developing marketing ideas and carrying them through execution, with examples of your work, your role, and the results. Hands‑on experience with social media marketing, SEO, paid search and paid social (Google Ads and Meta Ads), email marketing, and website content management. Familiarity with social media management, email marketing, and project management platforms. Comfort using marketing data to make decisions, with experience in Google Analytics (GA4), KPI and conversion tracking, and A/B Testing. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to make information engaging and easy to understand. Initiative, sound judgment, and creativity, with an eye for opportunities and the ability to connect ideas to the audience and response you want. Collaborative leadership, including communicating expectations, welcoming feedback, and building productive relationships with the creative team, agents, leadership, and outside partners. Strong organization and attention to detail when managing multiple projects, approvals, and deadlines. Curiosity about agriculture, land, and real estate.
