Forklift Operator – 1st ShiftShift/Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30pmStarting Pay Rate: $16.00/HrAs a Forklift Operator at Pratt Industries – Hammond, you will play an essential role in maintaining the flow of materials by moving various sized units and products to the correct staging areas. You will also maintain accurate records of inventory locations, perform basic equipment maintenance, assist with general operations, and ensure housekeeping duties are completed. Candidates with previous experience in the corrugating industry, forklift operation, or working with warehouse management systems are preferred.Basic Troubleshooting: Ability to identify maintenance needs and take appropriate action.Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift materials.
