Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce Consultant with strong expertise across Dynamics 365 Commerce, Finance & Operations (F&O), CRM/Customer Engagement, Power Platform, and e-commerce integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong techno-functional background and experience delivering enterprise retail and omnichannel transformation initiatives. This person will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to define requirements, design solutions, lead workshops, and support implementation of end-to-end commerce solutions. Strong experience integrating Shopify with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.

• Business Consulting & Solution Design Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements-gathering activities.
• Analyze existing business processes and define future-state processes.
• Design end-to-end solutions covering retail, e-commerce, customer engagement, order management, fulfillment, and financial operations.
• Create solution blueprints, process flows, functional specifications, and design documentation.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical and functional solutions.
• Work closely with client architects and product owners to finalize solution designs.

Dynamics 365 Commerce Lead implementation and enhancement initiatives involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce. Configure and support areas including: Product Information Management Pricing and Promotions Order Management Commerce Scale Unit Omnichannel commerce Support digital sales channels and customer journeys. Help optimize retail and e-commerce business processes.

Dynamics 365 F&O & CRM Provide functional consulting across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Work with Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service/Customer Engagement solutions. Support integration between Commerce, F&O, CRM, and external systems. Work with business stakeholders to improve order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, warehouse, and customer experience processes.

Shopify & Integration Design and support integrations between Shopify/Shopify Plus and Dynamics 365. Work with REST APIs and Azure integration technologies. Troubleshoot integration and deployment issues. Collaborate with technical teams on integration architecture and implementation.

Technical Leadership Review technical and functional designs and provide recommendations. Conduct peer reviews and promote coding and documentation standards. Identify recurring technical issues and recommend improvements. Support build, deployment, testing, release, and production activities. Perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions. Define technical frameworks and architecture for smaller initiatives. Evaluate opportunities to reuse or improve existing components.

Testing & Quality Review unit test cases, test scenarios, and execution results. Work with QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve defects. Analyze defect trends and implement proactive quality improvements. Validate implemented solutions against business and technical requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Management Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders. Present solution options and recommendations. Lead design discussions and implementation reviews. Communicate effectively with customer architects, business users, product owners, and technical teams. Support project governance, risk management, and status reporting.

Team Leadership & Mentoring Mentor developers and technical leads. Provide technical guidance and feedback to team members. Help team members improve their technical and domain expertise. Conduct technical assessments for developer and lead-level candidates. Promote knowledge-sharing sessions and reusable technical assets.

• 10 15 years of overall IT experience.
• 10+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce implementations.
• Strong functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement.
• Hands-on experience integrating Shopify with Dynamics 365.
• Experience with retail, e-commerce, and omnichannel implementations.
• Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder-management experience.
• Experience leading requirements, solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Strong understanding of ERP/CRM integration and cloud-based application architecture.
