- Full Stack Engineer
- Work Location / Mode: Hybrid (Alternating weeks onsite) at one of the following Fidelity locations:
- Westlake, TX, Raleigh, NC, Smithfield, RI, Merrimack, NH & Boston, MA
- Pay Rate: Up to $60.00 / hr
- Work Authorization / Vendor Rules: 3rd Party Vendors Allowed, Independent Contractors Not Allowed, RITS Talent Allowed
- Interview Process: Technical Assessment (First Step), followed by standard interview rounds.
Summary
Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS) is seeking an experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to play a leading role in the design and development of innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients. You will drive agile development for applications used by thousands of Investment Professionals to deliver comprehensive brokerage solutions using a modern technology stack.
Key Internal Notes & Requirements
- Location Constraint: Candidates MUST sit Hybrid (alternating weeks) in one of the specified Fidelity locations: Westlake, TX; Raleigh, NC; Smithfield, RI; Merrimack, NH; or Boston, MA.
Core Responsibilities & Expertise Required
- 8+ years of full stack software development experience building enterprise APIs and web applications.
- Expertise with Angular, TypeScript, and core Java with Spring / Spring Boot .
- Experience with web services ( JSON, XML, REST, SOAP , etc.).
- Technical proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform , and AWS cloud deployment/application management.
- CI/CD automation experience building and deploying applications using Jenkins and GitHub pull requests/source control.
- Strong background in unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
- Leadership experience to guide, encourage, and motivate fellow engineers in an Agile Scrum development environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
