Compensation: $110-120k based on experience


Overview

We're hiring an Applications Engineer to support sales and customers by developing technical solutions, building cost estimates, and creating proposals for OEM and modernization projects.

You'll also be the go-to expert on sand production and help customers improve performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through quotation
• Build cost estimates and support pricing decisions
• Manage RFQs and coordinate with engineering + purchasing
• Create proposals including costs, drawings, and layouts
• Work directly with sales, agents, and customers

Day-to-Day

• Review customer specs and RFQs
• Size equipment and calculate sand demand
• Prepare and update cost estimates
• Support pricing and proposal delivery

What You Bring

• Strong problem-solving and organization skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused
• Strong communication skills

Experience & Skills

• Background in foundry operations or sand production
• Knowledge of sand mixing, testing, and process control
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and do basic calculations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office + CRM
• Basic CAD knowledge required
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
