Travel Stepdown/PCU Registered Nurse - $1,898 per week

Job Summary TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN for a travel nursing assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The position starts on 06/15/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Responsibilities Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients. Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays. Initiate corrective action when monitoring data shows adverse symptomatology. Stand, walk long periods, bend, lean, and stoop; lift items up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when required. Maintain strong stress‑coping skills and communicate effectively with patients and their families of all ages and backgrounds. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with 1–2 years recent acute care experience. Current ACLS and BLS certifications. Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform routine nursing tasks. Must be willing to work night shifts and travel to Columbus, Ohio.
