Adjunct, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Job Location: US-NY-New York Overview Adjunct is responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department. Responsibilities Teach a minimum of one undergraduate‑level course Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data Support students’ learning goals by: Focusing on student learning outcomes Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students Becoming familiar with academic and social support Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences Maintaining the academic integrity of the college Making himself/herself available to assist students in achieving their learning goals Qualifications Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of highest attainable degree) Previous collegiate teaching experience Maximum Salary USD $4,250.00/Sem Minimum Salary USD $3,250.00/Sem Benefits Benefits are primarily available to full‑time employees and may not apply to this part‑time position.
