Software Engineer

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-Shelf/Government Off-the-Shelf in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Required Technical Skills

• Development position for the Abyss team.
• C++, Javascript, python are preferred.

$64.04 - $120.27 an hour Pay Range: $64.04 - $120.27 per hour* Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
