Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $120K - $140K Depending on Experience

We are seeking a Project Engineer - Transportation to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a licensed Texas PE with strong roadway design experience who is ready to take ownership of complex transportation projects from concept through final design.

The Project Engineer will assist Project Managers with the design, analysis, and production of interstate highway and roadway projects while coordinating with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with design, analysis, and production of complex interstate highway and roadway design projects
• Perform roadway and civil engineering design calculations
• Develop reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages
• Take projects from initial concept through final design
• Lead and coordinate with staff, subcontractors, and clients to deliver roadway and highway design activities
• Work closely with project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to complete a variety of transportation projects
• Attend design review meetings with staff and clients
• Take ownership of assigned projects from start to finish

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required
• Professional Engineer license in Texas required
• 5+ years of experience on transportation and roadway projects
• Proficiency with MicroStation, GEOPAK, and OpenRoads
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Flexible and able to adjust to changing project needs
• Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple disciplines
