Key Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing practice on the unit during the assigned shift, reporting to the Unit Director/Manager or designee in their absence
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual care needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care using the nursing process
• Administer and coordinate nursing measures and other treatment interventions in alignment with current nursing knowledge and standards
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the care team to facilitate effective communication and continuity of care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Pennsylvania
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewed every two years
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a highly professional manner
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a team member with a high level of emotional tolerance and sound judgment when caring for ill patients and interacting with families and colleagues

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical inpatient setting
• Experience working night shift in an acute care environment
