Business Development Representative (BDR) About the Role The Business Development Representative (BDR) team is a critical part of the Sales Organization, focusing on generating new business and pipeline through outbound prospecting. You will impact sales targets by assisting outbound sales teams with detailed account research and prospecting efforts. You will have access to the latest social and contact tools and work in a fast‑paced environment with a strong Sales and Product Training Curriculum that sets you up for success as a seller for FIS. Location: You will work onsite (5 days) out of the Jacksonville headquarters. Team The BDR Organization maintains a collaborative environment that invests in developing outbound sales talent while providing a critical service to grow pipeline and sales achievement. What you will be doing Participating in the sales lead process to generate new business opportunities (pre‑qualified leads) in support of FIS sales goals and objectives. Generating sales leads through outbound contact strategies (calling, e‑mail, social) and technology platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach) in conjunction with lead generation programs. Maintaining sales lead documentation. Strategizing on demand generation approaches and activities. Nurturing long‑term opportunities to continue FIS communication in the early stages before the sales cycle. Supporting all strategic and targeted sales and marketing campaigns through comprehensive data collection. Gaining knowledge of Sales Techniques and Product Differentiators. What you bring Bachelor’s Degree or relevant skills and experience. Passion for selling and a drive to make sales your career. Strong competencies in MS Office Applications and LinkedIn. Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools. Strong analytical, statistical, and problem‑solving skills.
