Bridge Inspection Team LeaderAre we the road to your future?We are currently searching for an experienced Bridge Inspection Team Leader to support our Mid Atlantic Region located in Springfield, VA.To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.What You'll Be Doing:Performing on-site safety inspections of bridges and culvertsLeading a team of inspectors in the field during inspectionsScheduling and coordinating inspections, personnel, vendors, stakeholders, maintenance of trafficOperating access equipment and other equipment to perform inspectionsReviewing and updating bridge inspection reportsDeveloping repair recommendationsReviewing structural analysis dataWhat You Need To Have:Experience in conducting field inspections and preparing inspection reports. Candidates should possess a strong working knowledge of NBIS and have advanced writing and communication skills.NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course with Refresher Training within the last 5 yearsMinimum of 5+ years of experience in bridge inspections with a minimum of 1 year service as a qualified NBIS Team Leader50% Local In-State Travel requiredStrong writing and communication skillsBasic knowledge of Microsoft OfficeNHI Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges and Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures Courses preferred but not requiredEIT or P.E. license preferred but not requiredAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
