Amazon Client Relations Specialist

The Amazon Client Relations Specialist will be responsible for managing the relationship between the company and Amazon. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize sales and customer engagement through the Amazon platform. The Specialist will work closely with key accounts to drive sales and ensure category leadership. Responsibilities will include strategizing, planning, and executing marketing initiatives to achieve sales targets.

Roles and Duties

• Lead the development of strategies and sales plans to meet corporate objectives.
• Cultivate relationships with key customer accounts to meet sales and profit targets.
• Maximize profitability by managing expenses and growing sales for key accounts.
• Create and implement annual sales and marketing plans.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
• Analyze the market and develop strategies to maintain brand leadership.
• Recommend pricing and manage trade budgets effectively.
• Work with Demand Planning to create forecasts and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide insights and recommendations for future marketing campaigns.
• Ensure brand protection and address any issues as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall effectiveness.
• Perform any other assigned duties as required.
• Must attend work regularly.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in eCommerce sales and account management.
• Minimum of 8 years in customer account management.
• Strong background in marketing and sales.
• Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate key performance indicators effectively.
• Familiarity with e-commerce contracts and Terms and Conditions.
• Experience in the pet category is a plus.
• Ability to travel domestically 10%-20% of the time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of web promotion strategies and proficiency in Microsoft suite.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business or related field, with at least five years of relevant experience. MBA preferred.
