Product Coordinator

Town & Country Living

Role Summary The Product Development Coordinator provides hands‑on operational and logistical support to the Product Development team. This role ensures the physical infrastructure of product development runs smoothly — PLM/ WFX Tech Pack execution, communication with overseas agents and vendors, managing sample libraries, coordinating sample shipments, maintaining showroom readiness, and keeping reference materials organized and current. The Coordinator enables PDs and GMs to focus on product strategy and execution by owning the day‑to‑day logistics that keep the development process moving on schedule. The Coordinator may support multiple PDs across categories and will manage competing priorities across seasons, brands, and accounts simultaneously. Success requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities PLM/WFX Tech Pack with all design/product information. Communication with overseas agents and vendors daily on any questions and follow up. Update tech packs as needed with changes and updated information and keep agents/vendors/internal teams updated in WFX communication. Order pantone/CSI ordering and maintain color reference standards to support design team execution. Maintain the sample and standards library through an organized, easily navigable system across all categories supported. Organize samples and standards daily; ensure the physical inventory is current and relevant. Execute timely removal of obsolete samples per PDs direction to keep the library accurate. Track, create, and organize production standards; ensure standards are readily available for reference. Track and coordinate all incoming and outgoing sample shipments with a sense of urgency and attention to due dates. Coordinate shipping for all outgoing sample requests, ensuring correct labeling, documentation, and timely dispatch. Manage incoming samples upon arrival — log, distribute to the appropriate PDs or team, and update tracking systems. Fulfill sample requests for sales associates by supplying samples on time for customer meetings and due dates. Execute showroom setup, break‑down, and year‑round physical maintenance to ensure the space is always presentation‑ready. Coordinate Market Week logistics: sample preparation, vendor shipments, physical setup, and post‑market breakdown. Ensure all samples and materials are staged, organized, and accessible for customer‑facing presentations. Maintain CAD printouts and color reference binders organized by brand, account, and season — ensuring they are readily available prior to sample arrival. Keep pantone and CSI reference samples organized and accessible per PDs direction. Support file preparation and release logistics for art files and design materials as directed by PDs. Support meeting scheduling, materials preparation, and follow‑up actions for internal and external meetings. Recap internal and external meetings; ensure action items are documented and followed through. Provide general administrative support to the General Merchandisers and Product Development team to maintain workflow efficiency. Success Measures PLM / WFX tech pack accuracy Sample library accuracy and organization (current, clean, navigable) On‑time sample fulfillment for internal teams, sales, and Market Week deadlines Showroom readiness and presentation quality Reliability and responsiveness to PDs and team requests Qualifications Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proactive, self‑directed, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Team player with a collaborative, positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in where needed. Strong communication skills; able to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors. Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment managing physical inventory and logistics. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred. 0–2 years of experience in product development coordination, sample management, or a related operational role. Experience in home goods, textiles, or consumer goods preferred. Familiarity with PLM systems, sample tracking tools, and shipping logistics a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
