Experienced Host

Host Position A Host’s duties primarily focus on ensuring the guests have a positive experience as soon as they enter the restaurant. Hosts are responsible for welcoming customers to a food service environment and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. Their duties include maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service, passing out menus and accepting phone calls. Job Duties Keeping all work areas clean & organized, re-stocking service stands. Addresses complaints promptly in a courteous manner and notifies leadership of any issues. Greeting customers as they enter and exit the restaurant. Helping guests and guiding them to their table. Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have. Optimizing seating at different tables. Provides prompt and courteous service and is cordial to all team members and guests. Completes all other tasks and duties as assigned. Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies. Required Experience 17 years of age or older Excellent organizational skills. Detail oriented with ability to prioritize tasks. Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staff. Maintain professional presentation (must adhere to company dress code). Ability to think clearly in a fast-paced work environment. Outstanding customer service skills.
