Home Health Aide (HHA)The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.Essential Functions:Personal Care Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheelchair), change of position, with toileting.Companion/Sitter/Household Management Provide companionship and respite services for familyStand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clientsClient is a woman in her 80s and the family needs immediate assistance for 2 hours daily.Occasional Transportation to run errands within 5 mile radius once a week.Qualifications/Educational Requirements:High school graduate or G.E.D certificateAbility to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the jobPossess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the jobMust be:• Willing to keep client active • Good at communicating • Have driver's license and carSome benefits include:• Training Programs This job description is used as a guide only and not inclusive of responsibilities and job duties.
