Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Full-time position in Spearfish, South Dakota. Deliver individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist, support patients' mobility and daily living activities, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to deliver individualized treatment plans
2. Assist patients in improving mobility, independence, and daily living activities
3. Monitor patient progress and document therapeutic outcomes
4. Educate patients and families on exercises and home treatment programs
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient care
6. Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and facility guidelines

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current South Dakota COTA license or eligibility to obtain
• NBCOT certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a therapy or rehabilitation setting
