Reports To Natatorium Manager Work Year Days Varies by the Season Primary Purpose Provide a safe and orderly environment at the Natatorium. Qualifications Education/Certification: Minimum age 16, American Red Cross Lifeguard training certification. Special Knowledge/Skills: Communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to follow procedures and guidelines; Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and procedures related to possible infectious or hazardous materials. Major Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for the safety of all patrons. Check daily attendance, handle entry fees, register participants into various programs, and assist customers. Attend all in-service lifeguard trainings. Adhere to all Frisco ISD policies and procedures. Enforce all pool policies in a consistent, professional manner. Ensure a safe, clean, and well‑maintained facility. Prepare pool set‑up requirements as directed by the aquatics management team such as moving lane lines, bulkheads, and setting up Colorado Timing equipment for meets. Follow a rotation of stations as directed by the head guard and/or aquatics management team. Complete facility safety checks and reports. Maintain equipment inventory. Participate in all events, in any capacity, at the Natatorium. Other Duties as Assigned Frisco ISD retains the right to adjust the responsibilities and assignments of all positions as needed to meet the needs of the District. Working Conditions Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress. Exposure to high humidity and potential chemical hazards in pool water. Moderate lifting; crouch/kneeling; sitting/standing. Work on slippery surfaces.
