Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and RDCS or RCS certification for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital-based Echo Lab in Manchester, NH.

Details

• Located in a hospital-based Echo Lab (cardiovascular ultrasound unit) in Manchester, NH
• Adult patient population
• Caseload of approximately 8–9 echos per day
• Team of 12 staff members
• Procedures include standard echo, stress echo, transesophageal echo (TEE), contrast echo, and echo with bubble studies
• Equipment includes Philips Ultrasound and GE Clinical Works
• EMR: Sunrise (Allscripts)
• Schedule is either 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• Occasional weekend day shifts required
• Occasional on-call coverage from 5:00 PM–7:00 AM required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Echo Tech experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• RDCS or RCS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure required — license must be in hand prior to consideration
• License required if applicable
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)

Additional Information

• Perform standard echocardiograms, stress echos, transesophageal echos, contrast echos, and bubble studies
• Scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
