Overview

1. Interact with production departments and support quality department & customer standards & tolerances.
2. Perform daily visual inspections of work-in-process materials.
3. Perform audits of products & processes. Document audit data and results.
4. Monitoring documented processes.
5. Data entry using Excel spreadsheet/ ERP database (Priority)
6. Input quality audit & inspection results into the computer, spreadsheets
7. Data reporting
8. Prepare QC Samples - Cutting and Skiving buns to select the layer under the skin and center layer.
9. Visual QC inspections of finished products prior to shipping and returned from Customers.
10. Conduct Training of other Hourly employees on Quality-related topics. Conduct testing & evaluations to assure training efficiency.
11. Gauge Control
12. Quarantining Non-Conforming product.
13. Must have 20/20 vision (with correction if necessary) & no color blindness or inability to judge color hues.
14. All other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

1. Strong computer and analytical skills absolutely required
2. Proficient in Windows & Microsoft software
3. Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
4. Previous experience working within a Quality Department preferred.
5. Ability to create & organize data base and good file management.
6. High School Diploma or equivalent.
7. Trouble shoot & high sense of urgency.
8. Self-motivated, excellent time management, dependable, and reliable.
9. Exceptional attitude with assigned tasks and completion of time lines.

Ability to work in high heat and humidity. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
