About the Job:

Schilling Beer Co. is seeking dedicated bartenders in a part-time or full-time capacity. The ideal candidate works efficiently under pressure, maintains a positive approach to the workplace and teammates, the ability to provide an exceptional guest experience, and crucially, a passion for serving and discussing Schilling beer. Seasonal bartenders that excel may have opportunities to stay on as permanent employees after the busy summer season concludes (i.e. in the fall).

Duties & Expectations:

Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that guests enjoy a world-class experience at our brewery and are treated like family.

• Educate guests about our beers and assist with menu selections.
• Ensure orders are taken, prepared, and delivered accurately to guests.
• Pour and serve beverages in appropriate glassware.
• Meticulously handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Handling a fast-paced atmosphere efficiently and enthusiastically.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Train on NH State Liquor Control guidelines and laws (TEAMs) and follow all regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service, safety and sanitation standards. Ensure your colleagues are doing the same.
• Collaboration with management and colleagues to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Performance check-ins at the 30-day and 60-day mark.
• Commitment to passing Schilling Beer Co.’s internal beer knowledge exam and first-level Cicerone certification.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role possesses:

• 1-3-plus years of bartending or serving experience (experience in both is a plus).
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
• Strong initiative and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Compassion and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to lift approximately 40-50 lbs.
• Open and flexible availability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends/holidays.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Pay: $3.27 per hour plus gratuities for servers; $5.00 per hour plus gratuities for bartenders.
