Structural Engineer Opportunity
Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Structural Engineer for a partnering firm in Buffalo, New York. This role will focus on structural design and engineering for higher education, municipal, health care, large commercial, residential and other unique projects.
Job Details
- Perform structural calculations for client review and permitting.
- Create designs of new and existing structures.
- Conduct field investigations.
- Coordinate with other engineers and architects.
- Develop structural designs and details from initial concept to final construction documents.
- Utilize knowledge of building codes and construction process.
Required
- BS in civil engineering with a focus on structures.
- 3 plus years' experience engineering and designing. Experience should include steel, concrete and masonry design codes, basic wood design knowledge.
- Experienced in the analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete buildings.
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.
- Risa structural calculation experience.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in civil engineering.
- RAM structural system.
- EIT or PE.
Compensation: $65,000-$100,000 based on experience and certifications
