Structural Engineer Opportunity

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Structural Engineer for a partnering firm in Buffalo, New York. This role will focus on structural design and engineering for higher education, municipal, health care, large commercial, residential and other unique projects.

Job Details

Perform structural calculations for client review and permitting.
Create designs of new and existing structures.
Conduct field investigations.
Coordinate with other engineers and architects.
Develop structural designs and details from initial concept to final construction documents.
Utilize knowledge of building codes and construction process.

Required

BS in civil engineering with a focus on structures.
3 plus years' experience engineering and designing. Experience should include steel, concrete and masonry design codes, basic wood design knowledge.
Experienced in the analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete buildings.
AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.
Risa structural calculation experience.

Preferred:

Master's degree in civil engineering.
RAM structural system.
EIT or PE.

Compensation: $65,000-$100,000 based on experience and certifications
