Southern California Point-of-Sale Systems is a San Diego-based technology company that helps

restaurants, bars, and hospitality businesses run better — with modern POS, payment processing,

online ordering, and the integrations that tie it all together. We're a small, focused team. We hire

carefully and take care of the people who perform.

We're building our sales team now. If you're the kind of person who can walk into a restaurant, earn

the owner's trust, and close — this was written for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is a field sales role with structure. You'll work from our San Diego office during regular business

hours and spend planned time in the field — visiting restaurants, bars, and quick-service locations

across the area.

You'll own your pipeline. No inside team feeding you leads. You prospect, build the relationship, and

close. Then you move on — and the account keeps paying you.

WHAT YOU'LL SELL

Genius Restaurant & Shift4 Dine — full-service POS + payment processing for restaurants

Genius Retail — POS + payments for retail businesses

Online ordering, website, and integrations

Hardware: handheld, tableside, mobile, workstations, kitchen display systems, kiosks

You're not just selling a terminal. You're replacing a business's entire technology stack — and when

you do it right, they don't leave.

WHAT YOU'LL EARN

Compensation is built in layers. Base salary is your floor. Commissions reward installs. Bonuses

reward volume and quality. And residual income rewards the book you build — compounding every

month you stay.

$45,000 / year

$500 / month car allowance

We track weekly. You'll know exactly where you stand from Month 1. Reps who can sell hit the

ground running — this structure rewards that.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

B2B outside sales experience with a verifiable track record — results, not just activity

Comfortable with cold prospecting: walk-ins, calls, referrals — no leads handed to you

Organized and self-directed — you manage your own pipeline and field schedule

Reliable, reachable, and accountable during business hours

Based in San Diego or the greater San Diego area

Preferred Backgrounds

These aren't requirements — they're the profiles we've seen succeed in this role:

Merchant services or payment processing — Heartland, Toast, Square, First Data, Clover, or

similar

Telecommunications B2B sales — AT&T Business, Comcast Business, Spectrum Business

Copier or office equipment sales — Canon, Ricoh, Xerox field reps

Liquor, beverage, or food distributor rep — you know the accounts and the owners already

Restaurant or hospitality background — former FOH manager, bar manager, or operator who

understands the pain of a bad POS from the inside

Languages

Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred. We serve a diverse restaurant community across San

Diego and fluency in any of the following is a significant advantage:
