Payroll ClerkPerforms a variety of functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification, and reconciliation of driver payroll.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollect, analyze, update, and reconcile payroll data as needed.Enter information into driver payroll software.Research, analyze, and record payroll discrepancies and process appropriate corrections.Manage driver reimbursements through payroll.Verify the accuracy of employee changes, including pay increases.Determine if payroll data complies with legally mandated and company policies.Attend workshops and trainings as directed.Assist with various driver payroll tasks as they develop.Maintain PTO balances for accurate reportingKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDetail oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.Ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality of information.Ability to be flexible in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.Must have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel.Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe working conditions.Special RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age or older.Associate Degree or minimum 3 years relevant experience.Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by Manager.EnvironmentCasual, yet professional office setting.
