I.M.P.A.C.T. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental, behavioral, and physical disabilities, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity.

I.M.P.A.C.T. provides person-centered residential and community-based services designed to improve quality of life, develop functional skills, promote personal growth, and encourage independence.

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered support to individuals receiving services.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, personal care, hygiene, meals, and household routines as appropriate.
• Support individuals in developing and maintaining daily living and independent living skills.
• Encourage participation in community activities, recreational opportunities, appointments, and social events.
• Help individuals work toward personal goals and objectives identified in their individual service plans.
• Promote independence, choice, dignity, privacy, and self-determination.
• Provide supervision and maintain a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment.
• Assist with medication-related responsibilities as permitted by training and applicable requirements.
• Observe and report changes in behavior, health, or overall well-being.
• Complete required documentation, daily notes, incident reports, and other records accurately and on time.
• Follow individualized service plans, agency policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, families, and other members of the individual's support team.
• Assist with transportation and community integration activities when required.
• Participate in required training and continuing education.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect the rights and dignity of the individuals served.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral or other support needs using approved techniques and training.

• Previous experience in direct care, caregiving, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, healthcare, assisted living, group homes, or human services is helpful but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent may be required based on position and applicable regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age .

Driver Requirements

Because some positions may require transporting individuals, candidates who will operate agency vehicles must meet I.M.P.A.C.T.'s applicable driving requirements, including maintaining an unrestricted driver's license and meeting motor vehicle record standards.

Training & Support

I.M.P.A.C.T. provides training to help employees develop the knowledge and skills needed to support the individuals we serve. Required training includes areas such as CPR, First Aid, agency policies, and other role-specific requirements.
