All tutors start out between $27-$38/hour with opportunities to earn a raise and earn over $40/hour. Plus, as a part‑time employee we’ll pay a portion of your payroll taxes! Flexible schedule . Maybe you play in a softball league on Tuesdays or need to take your kids to soccer practice on Wednesday. Whatever it is, you’ll still be able to do it and tutor with Educational Connections. Our tutors have the flexibility to create their own schedule. Our tutors are employees . You’ll always be supported. We are going to invest in you and provide you with the resources you need to make you a better tutor and your sessions more rewarding. We offer hands‑on professional development workshops with teacher recertification points as well as online subscriptions and resources. We handle the logistics. We secure clients and bill them directly, allowing you to focus on teaching. Your success will be recognized and appreciated. You’ll be able to see your direct impact in a child’s success. You won’t be just another cog in the wheel. Qualifications We’re looking for someone who: Is a top‑notch educator. All of our tutors have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and classroom teaching or extensive tutoring experience. We’re looking for teachers and tutors who have an enthusiastic, engaging, and encouraging teaching style. Strives to be an industry expert . At Educational Connections, we’re invested in developing our tutors to help them become the best at what they do. We offer frequent trainings, workshops, and resources to our tutors on a wide variety of subjects. Is committed . If you’re only looking for a part‑time gig for a few months, this probably isn’t for you.
