Quantum Hardware Staff Research Scientist

The Quantum Hardware Staff Research Scientist will conduct experimental investigations of IBM’s quantum hardware, correlating device performance with modelling and theoretical predictions, and identifying fidelity‑limiting mechanisms to improve quantum computers. Responsibilities You will be responsible for conducting experimental investigations of IBM's quantum hardware, correlating device performance with modelling and theoretical predictions, identifying fidelity‑limiting mechanisms, and proposing new directions to improve IBM's quantum computers. You will work as an independent contributor in a large dynamic team of scientists. Required Education Doctorate Degree.
