Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level III NICU position at an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, CA, requiring at least 1 year of NICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Level III NICU in a 212-bed acute care hospital with approximately 190 births per month
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
• Every other weekend required, with the possibility of additional weekends to meet unit needs
• No floating to other units within this assignment
• No on-call required
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years of total RN experience, with at least 1 year in NICU
• Epic EMR experience required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• All required certifications must be current and on file for consideration

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
• All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent employees of this Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate — contact your recruiter for details
