WOMEN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

The Women’s Ministry Director exists to help women know Jesus deeply, grow in biblical truth, build meaningful relationships, and live on mission. This leader will shepherd and develop a ministry where women in every season of life are welcomed, discipled, equipped, and empowered to become more like Jesus and help others do the same. Working alongside the pastoral team, the Women’s Ministry Director will provide vision and leadership for a growing ministry that reaches women with the gospel, grounds them in Scripture, connects them in authentic biblical community, and develops them into disciple-makers.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR IS A PERSON WHO:

Loves Jesus deeply and demonstrates a personal, active, and growing relationship with Him.
Loves the local church and senses a genuine calling to serve and shepherd women.
Lives with biblical integrity and demonstrates the character expected of spiritual leaders in Scripture.
Loves God’s Word and is passionate about helping women understand and apply Scripture.
Has a teachable spirit and desires to embrace and advance the mission and culture of New Life Baptist.
Able to cast vision and build a sustainable strategy for spiritual and numerical growth.
Has a heart for the one—both the woman far from Jesus and the woman ready to take her next step.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR WILL:

Disciple Women. Create opportunities for women to grow as followers of Jesus through Bible studies, small groups, mentoring, one-on-one discipleship, and other environments centered on Scripture and spiritual growth.

Develop Leaders. Identify, recruit, train, encourage, and equip women to use their gifts to serve others and advance the mission of the church.

Build Community. Create environments where women from different generations and seasons of life can build authentic, Christ-centered relationships.

Reach Women. Develop ministry opportunities that intentionally reach women beyond the walls of the church.

Teach Biblical Truth. Communicate Scripture with clarity, conviction, and practical application while remaining consistent with the doctrine and mission of New Life Baptist Church and the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.

Care For Women. Provide biblical encouragement, prayer, spiritual guidance, and appropriate care for women walking through difficult seasons.

·       Develop and execute annual ministry goals aligned with the mission and vision of New Life Baptist.
·       Plan and oversee women’s Bible studies, groups, gatherings, events, and discipleship opportunities.
·       Develop and maintain the Women’s Ministry calendar.
·       Recruit, train, and lead ministry volunteers and team leaders.
·       Oversee communication and promotion of Women’s Ministry opportunities.
·       Manage the Women’s Ministry budget with wisdom and accountability.
·       Represent New Life Baptist through strategic ministry opportunities in our community.
·       Collaborate with pastors, staff, and other ministries to advance the overall mission of the church.
·       Perform other ministry responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Pastor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree in ministry, biblical studies, Christian leadership, or a related field preferred
Strong biblical and theological understanding.
Demonstrated ability to teach and communicate Scripture effectively.
Experience recruiting, developing, and leading volunteers.
Strong relational, organizational, administrative, and budgeting skills.

We want to develop women who love Jesus, live His Word, lead others, and leave a spiritual legacy.
