Business Analyst

Granville, Ohio client is lookingforadetail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst tohelpsupport complex, department-level and enterprise-wide technology and transformation initiatives. You’ll play a critical part in bridging business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into clear, actionable specificationsfordevelopmentandimplementationteams. Theidealcandidatebringsover7yearsofexperienceidentifyingandanalyzingbusinessneeds,translatingcomplexscenariosintoclearandactionable requirements, andleadingcross-functionalteamstodeliverresults. Thisroleisidealforsomeonewhothrivesonbringingstructuretoambiguity, improving processes, and knows how to get things done in a dynamic environment. This position reports to the Director of the Project Management Organization withintheIT&TransformationOffice. Duties/Responsibilities You’llpartnerwithstakeholdersacrosstheorganizationtounderstandbusinesschallenges,supportdecision-making, andensurethattechnology solutionsdelivermeaningfulvalue Partnerwithbusinessstakeholderstoelicit,analyze,anddocument requirements for technology-based project and process transformation initiatives Translatecomplexbusinessneedsintodetailedfunctionalandnon-functionalrequirements,userstories,andacceptancecriteriathatdeveloperscanusetodesignandbuildsolutions Developandmaintainrequirementstraceabilityanddatamapping documentation throughouttheprojectlifecycle Conductgapanalyses,feasibilitystudies,andimpactassessmentsto support informeddecision-making Facilitateworkshops,interviews,andworkingsessionswith stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and capture requirements and successcriteria,distinguishingbetweenmust-haveandnice-to-haverequirements Assistinsoftwareselectionprocesses,includingevaluatingsolutionsagainstbusinessneedsandsupportingrecommendationdevelopment Collaboratewithprojectmanagers,developers,andbusinessteams to ensure successfuldeliveryofsolutions Supporttestingefforts,includingUATplanningandexecution, validating thatdeliveredsolutionsmeetdefinedrequirements Identifyopportunitiesforprocessimprovementtoincreaseefficiency and projectoutcomes. Travelforthispositionisupto20%andwillconsistofovernightstays.
