Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Multiple Contract Position (2026–2027 School Year)
Location: In‑person, Local District
Contract Length: Full school year
Schedule: On-site only; no virtual/SLPA hybrid models accepted
About the Opportunity
District is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) contractor for the 2026–2027 school year to provide maternity leave coverage across multiple school sites. This role functions similarly to a roving SLP, supporting a diverse PK–8 student population with varying communication needs.
Caseload & Responsibilities
- Approximate caseload of 55 students, 0-3 year olds
- Services include assessment, direct intervention, progress monitoring, IEP development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Work is fully in-person; may consider virtual service permitted via hybrid model
Candidate Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and/or credential required for school-based practice
- Experience with birth-3-year-old populations preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to shifting caseloads and school sites
