This position is responsible for conducting immunological and molecular biology assays, managing day-to-day laboratory operations, laboratory compliance, maintaining a germ-free animal facility, overseeing flow cytometry instrumentation, and providing technical support to students, and postdoctoral researchers. Minimum qualifications include:* Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, molecular biology or a related field.* Minimum of 3-5 years of laboratory research experience* Experience working with mouse models and animal tissue collection.* Hands-on experience with flow cytometry and immunological assays.* Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and regulatory compliance requirements.* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.## Additional Information:**Target Salary Range: $19.28 - $25.19 per hour**; commensurate with experience, internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.## Location:Veterinary Medicine Academic (0136)## Position Type:Term (Fixed Term)## Scheduled Hours:40## **Shift:**First Shift***Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
