Manufacturing Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist

Viron Air Systems

Job Description

Job Description

About the Role

Picture your day starting on the shipping dock as the first UPS trailer backs in. You confirm finished goods, quantities, packaging, and labels; you keep each customer order cleanly separated from manufacturing jobs; and you orchestrate the flow of materials so production never misses a beat. By afternoon, you’re coordinating multiple outbound orders through FedEx and UPS while updating inventory with precision. Before the day ends, you’re measuring lumber for a custom crate and teaming up with Planning to prioritize what ships next.

What You’ll Own
  • Execute accurate receiving, put-away, movement, inventory control, and shipping across the facility to support both warehouse and production.
  • Prepare and process daily outbound shipments via UPS and FedEx; pick, pack, and stage orders for on-time departure.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain strict separation of customer orders from manufacturing jobs to prevent any product mixing.
  • Verify, track, and maintain precise inventory records for all parts and finished goods.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Inspect finished goods, quantities, packaging, and labels prior to shipment.
  • Coordinate multiple customer orders simultaneously while preventing cross-contamination of products.
  • Collaborate closely with Production and Planning to prioritize shipments based on customer commitments and production schedules.
  • Read a tape measure and assist in building sturdy shipping crates as needed.
What You Bring
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Valid driver’s license (required).
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment (required).
  • Forklift experience (required); certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
  • Comfort working in an industrial metal fabrication setting.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
