Work Environment

As a physical therapist at MediPack, you will work onsite in our outpatient office, which is designed to facilitate a positive and engaging therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical histories, physical conditions, and functional limitations to establish baseline data.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with patients' recovery goals and address their specific orthopedic needs.
• Implement and instruct on therapeutic exercises designed to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility while promoting recovery and reducing pain.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy and dry needling, to effectively alleviate discomfort and enhance healing processes.
• Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, postural awareness, and exercises to be performed at home for continuous improvement between sessions.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatment protocols, and progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The successful candidate will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Your approach will focus on empowering each patient through comprehensive education and hands-on treatment techniques that foster independence and long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active physical therapy license in the state of Florida, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitative practices and techniques.
• Commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in the field.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting, preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
