The best candidate for this role is a strong critical thinker, can adapt quickly to patient changes, and is a compassionate and empathetic caregiver. You will collaborate with providers, NICU, surgery, rapid response, and other L&D staff to provide the best support for our patients.Located at our Regional Medical Center off I-84 in Boise, Idaho, you will work in our beautiful Family Medical Center, providing Labor & Delivery care as part of a dynamic team. Nursing shifts are 7:00AM – 7:00PM (dayshift) and 7:00PM – 7:00AM (nightshift). Nampa only: All colleagues on this unit are required to work a rotating weekend shift.Our Family Maternity Center is equipped with:12 private labor and delivery rooms2 operating rooms and 2 PACUs12 postpartum family suites5 ante/postpartum roomsAverage of 1200 deliveries each yearLevel 3 NICURNs working this unit will be expected to take shifts in both the Boise and Nampa Family Maternity Units as needed.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of experience as an inpatient RN, highly preferred.RN license in the state of Idaho required prior to start.
