• Welcoming guests and providing attentive, engaging, and elevated service in a fast-paced bar and lounge environment.
• Accurately taking and processing guest food and beverage orders through the appropriate point-of-sale system.
• Serving cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food with confidence and care.
• Using your knowledge of cocktails, wine, and other beverages to answer guest questions and provide thoughtful recommendations.
• Communicating closely with Bartenders, support Curators, and Management to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Maintaining clean, organized, and guest-ready tables and service areas throughout the shift.
• Bussing and resetting tables and keeping chairs, floors, and surrounding areas clean and polished.
• Completing assigned side work and replenishing service areas as needed.
• Operating the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Handling cash and credit card transactions according to Coury Hospitality cash-handling procedures.
• Reviewing checks carefully, ensuring accuracy, and obtaining the appropriate guest or Host signature when required.
• Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly and professionally to questions or service concerns.
• Maintaining a polished, professional presence while creating a welcoming and energetic atmosphere.

Education and Experience

• Previous cocktail serving or bartending experience preferred.
• Previous restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and other alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to explain beverage offerings and make appropriate recommendations to guests.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately operate a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Ability to follow Coury Hospitality Cash Handling Policy and all applicable service standards.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Oklahoma State ABLE License.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the bar, lounge, and dining areas for extended periods.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to safely carry food, beverages, trays, glassware, and service equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent guest interaction and changing priorities.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the service area.
• Ability to safely handle glassware, food, beverages, and other service equipment.
• Ability to maintain a polished, professional appearance and adhere to all grooming and uniform standards.
