SageWest Health Care is located in Fremont County, Wyoming, encompassing two hospitals, one in Riverton and one in Lander. Each offers a wide range of healthcare services, including inpatient medical services, emergency room services, surgical services, imaging services, laboratory diagnostic services, primary care, infusion services, and women's health.Provides direct high-level nursing care to critically ill patients. Responsible for monitoring life support equipment, attending to wounds, responding to changing patient conditions and providing advanced life support.Assesses, plans and evaluates patient care needs.Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs.Carries out physician orders and clarifies, educates and instructs patients and families of them as needed.Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.Required LicensesMust have current and valid Wyoming RN License or compact equivalentRequired SkillsCurrent BLS Certification through American Heart AssociationCurrent ACLS certification through American Heart AssociationCurrent PALS or ENPC certification through American Heart Association or required within 90 days of hire or transfer into departmentCurrent TNCC or within 1 year of initial hireWork ExperienceMinimum 2+ years Critical Care experience preferred.
