Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications for the full-time position of Dean of Nursing on the Melbourne Campus in Melbourne, Florida. Position Concept The Dean of Nursing is responsible for leading, developing and implementing the College’s nursing programs. This position provides administrative oversight and stewarding of annual grants/gifts. The Dean is responsible for establishing and maintaining community outreach with regional healthcare leaders and organizations. The Dean reports directly to the AVP for Academic Affairs to support and promote the quality of student learning and success. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in nursing field (Doctorate or equivalent preferred). Must hold a current/active RN license. A minimum of three-years teaching experience at the collegiate level. Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator’s license required. A review of Social Media activity will be part of the candidate evaluation process. This position will require successful fingerprinting and substance screening. The candidate chosen will be required to pay the associated fees (currently $36.00/$65.15). The fingerprinting and substance screening fees ($36.005/$65.15) are non-refundable.
