Maintenance TechnicianPlainfield, INFull‑TimeCompensation DOE: Up to $40 an hour**Schedule: 1stand 3rdShift Available**Skilled Maintenance Technician needed to keep high‑speed production equipment running at peak performance. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery across the plant—supporting everything from blow molders and injection molders to conveyors, palletizers, and facility systems like chillers and air compressors. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to keeping operations moving.Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic issuesMaintain and repair production equipment, conveyors, and facility systemsTroubleshoot industrial control systems and support preventive maintenanceWork with Operators, Supervisors & Sr. Techs to resolve issues quicklyDocument work orders, repairs, and parts usageFollow all safety procedures and use proper PPESupport production as needed and maintain consistent attendanceMaintenance Technician Qualifications:4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or similar environmentStrong troubleshooting skills using schematics & technical drawingsExperience with shop equipment and precision measuring toolsAbility to communicate clearly with cross‑functional teamsBasic proficiency with MS Word, Excel & OutlookMust provide own toolbox and basic toolsHigh‑speed manufacturing (packaging, or plastics)Experience with VFDs, servo motors, PLC I/O, and industrial networksFamiliarity with Krones, Sidel, Husky, or similar equipmentWelding/fabrication (MIG/TIG/Stick)Experience with 480VAC & 24VDC electrical systemsAbility to read P&IDs and troubleshoot complex systems**Education:**Required: High School DiplomaPreferred: Associate degree in manufacturing tech, mechatronics, or related fieldsYou should be proficient in:Mechanical Troubleshooting SkillsElectrical TroubleshootingElectrical RepairPneumatics TroubleshootingMaintenance and Repair SkillsIndustrial Electrical ExperienceEquipment Diagnostics & TroubleshootingElectrical Schematic ReadingEquipment Repair & MaintenanceEquipment InstallationMachines & technologies you'll use:Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) #J-18808-Ljbffr
