Beach Shop Sales Associate- Seasonal

The Beach Shop Sales Associate carries out a variety of duties related to the operation of the Beach Shop. Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated friendliness with a strong commitment to member services. Including serving Members, administrative and clerical functions.

Opens and Closes Retail Shop. Adheres to all opening and closing procedures in the NorthStar system

Greets members and makes them feel comfortable. Interacts with members, guests and family members offering assistance and responding to queries about product and purchases.

Provides recommendations according to members' needs and preferences.

Locates merchandise for members and places orders where necessary.

Introduces and familiarizes with promotions and new merchandise.

Operates P.O.S. system for member charges along with credit card transactions. Sales and refunds.

Stays up to date with sales trends and product knowledge for better service and achievement of Beach shop sales goals.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Two years retail experience preferably with men, women and children's clothing.

Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing. Proficient in typing. Knowledge of PC's including Microsoft Office Software preferred. Employees must have the ability to demonstrate exceptional people and phone skills. Northstar experience preferred.
