I'm hiring for my client, a fast-growing, private equity-backed organization seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a highly visible leadership role overseeing the entire accounting department, partnering closely with executive leadership, and driving process improvements across a multi-entity organization. What You'll Be Doing Lead all accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, month-end close, and financial reporting Oversee a team of accounting professionals and foster a high-performance culture Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls Lead annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors Manage lease accounting (ASC 842) Support M&A activity, integrations, and strategic growth initiatives Drive ERP, system, and process improvement projects Partner with leadership to improve reporting, scalability, and operational effectiveness What We're Looking For 10+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior Controller experience with oversight of a full accounting department Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background ASC 842 lease accounting expertise Experience leading external audits Multi-entity experience required Proven leadership and team development skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment CPA strongly preferred; MBA is a plus Preferred Background Mid-sized organizations where you've had broad accounting ownership #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
